Webcam Hardware Combinations

Do you want to see how your webcam will look on a TrackerPod^®? Not sure how to attach it? The following are some examples of TrackerCam^® combinations. Click on the images to see a larger picture. (Note: this is not an exhaustive list. If your webcam is not in this list, you can still mount it on a TrackerPod^®. Please read the mounting information below).

Mounting Information

If your webcam has a 1/4 mounting thread, then just remove the base that it came with and attach the TrackerPod^® shoe plate adaptor. If your webcam does not have a 1/4 inch mounting thread (for example, the Creative Webcam III does not have a 1/4 inch mounting thread), you will need mounting plates to attach your webcam to the TrackerPod^®. The TrackerPod^® Limited Time Offer does not contain the mounting plates you require. You will need to buy the regular TrackerCam^® package. Real-Time Demo

You can click here to watch a real-time movie of TrackerPod^® moving a Logitech QuickCam Pro 3000 (3.5MB mpeg). We recommend the Logitech QuickCam Pro 3000 or the Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000 for best automatic tracking; however, the TrackerPod^® can move any webcam in this fashion.
