Can I customize the pan/tilt function of TrackerCam software?

Detailed Question:

Dear TrackerCam

I'm a University student and am using your trackerpod for my design class. The objective of this design is to enable the robot to routinely pan and tilt, and occasionally scan the surrounding area. However, this design will not be possible if the code has to be done from scratch. Is it possible to customize the code?

There is also C++ code that is a sockets application to control the TrackerPod/PowerPod.

The C++ source code examples are in the Samples directory under the TrackerCam install path (usually C:Program Files\Eagletron\TrackerCam\Samples).
